Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer III Luke Timothy Hoffman

No one is every prepared for a loss of this magnitude. Even though I did not know Luke personally, my husband was his coworker and I know that we, as well as other officers and officer families, have been deeply affected by his death. Know that our prayers are with the family. He is gone but not forgotten. R.I.P.

Once again one of the brightest and most promising has been taken from the ones who need & love him the most. My heart is simply broken for this family. As a mother of 2 boys, I can only imagine the pain his parents & loved ones are in. Especially his mother. There is a very special bond between Mothers& Sons. To his Mother: Many mothers grieve with you and for you. You are not alone. It didn't mention if he had a wife or girlfriend. If he did, I also grieve for her.

You are in my prayers

Luke,
This whole situation is so sad. I pray for your family, friends and our Department. I also pray for the other Officer involved. I can't imagine what he's going thru.
You were at our station a short time but you left your mark. I enjoyed our talks and running some calls together.
Our last conversation rings loudly in my head, I wish I would have taken that transfer.
Rest in peace Officer Hoffman. You will never be forgotten.
