Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Philip Anthony Rodriguez

My deepest sympathies to your family and his fiancee. The tragic tale of your officer is all to familiar. My brother served as long as Philip, and it is tragic they only got to do what they loved for such a short period of time. Keep eachother close and your memories of him closer. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

For Deputy Rodriquez's mom and sister my thoughts and prayers are with you. Just remember the family chain is never broken and his watch did not end on this day he is now Eternally On Watch from Heaven.
Family Chain
We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly.
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day god called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as god calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Phil:

Life with you gone, will never be the same. I will allways miss you. You were an inspiration to me, and many other people, from elementary school, till the day you passed. I will allways remember all of the great times we all had. You allways had a smile on your face, and made every one happy. It is a shame, we cannot witness the bright future that you would have surely achieved.

My prayers to you, and every one you left behind. I take comfort that you are now watching over all of us from above. Your service was short, but you will allways be a hero to me, and many, many more people, Rest easy, and thank you, brother.

May you walk with angles.

My heart simply aches for the family of this young man, who was cut down in his prime. Anytime an Officer is killed it is bad, but when they are so young and eager to begin the career they have so wanted, it's especially upsetting. My prayers for the family are that God gives you strength to endure this terrible time and peace in your heart.
