Your heroism and service is honored today, the fifth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace today. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Rest In Peace.

Hey man, you have been on my mind a lot in the past few weeks. Just thoght I would leave a note letting you know. I guess it was Thanksgiving and all the good food around. I know how much you enjoyed eating. I miss the times you would just stop by the house and talk. It is hard to believe that it has been over three years since that day. I think of you often.

Just checking in bro. Its hard to come here and read this stuff. We've burried a few more brothers since you left us. I suppose you know that. You inspried me to pick my pipes back up and I was honored to play Amazing Grace at their funerals. I owe you for that. Everyone is doing well here. Rest easy friend.

Hey Brother!
It sure doesn't feel like it's been 3 years since you went home, but obviously it has been. I've been sitting here thinking back on my years as a LEO and though I've lost several friends, your loss hits closest. It was the first time someone "working for/with me" died LOD. Rest in Peace, Jason. We'll talk hockey again one day.

It's hard to believe it been three years since that day. I find that I think of you and your family often, and remember the good times we had at work. Jason, you made a huge impression on a lot of people, thanks for all the good work you did.

Merry Christmas sweetheart. Wanted you to know we put the colored lights up this year. I know you loved them. We have our blue light in Ashley's window. Zackary really has a hard time without you as we all do, but I think with his age it's harder on him. We think of you every day and miss you soooo much. We know we will see you again one day. Hey man, a few of the old card playing crew got together the other night and played some hold 'em. Your name came up quite a bit as we spoke of the good old days and how you used to show up with a cake or banana pudding when you'd come play. We miss you, brother. You come up all of the time and I think of you every day.
