Oh my here we are again to leave feelings, thoughts, and prayers to families loved ones and all who knew Officer Esparza. He was taken so early in his life and we don't understand why. The higher power knows. So we don't question the why's. No words, thoughts or prayers at this time can not heal the pain we all feel in our hearts.

The following is a Fallen Officer's Prayer that was found while a Pueblo Police Officer visited the N.Y.P.D. Museum & Ground Zero in 2005 Officer's Prayer

Fallen Officer’s Prayer

I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
My Name For All Eternity.
Recorded Here At This Hallowed Place.
Alas, My Name, No More My Face.
'In The Line of Duty' I Hear Them Say.
My Family Now The Price To Pay.
My Folded Flag Stained With Their
Tears.
We Only Had Those Few Short Years.
The Badge No Longer On My Chest.
I Sleep Now In Eternal Rest.
My Sword I Pass To Those Behind And
Pray They Keep This Thought In Mind.
I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
And With A Heavy Heart And Bended
Knee, I Ask For All Here From The
Past...
Dear God, Let My Name Be The Last.
We hope that a later time that the family, friends and all who knew Officer Esparza, they can come here and read the wonderful reflections, left here at this memorial.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
