You will never be forgotten by us lucky ones who have served beside you. You had a special way of lighting up any room, any time. I am sure that the smile you always wore on earth is now shining down on us from heaven. We all truly thought that you were a shining star who wore his badge with pride, dignity and integrity. Though you have gone 10-7 your spirit in still in service with us on the shift. May God be with you Ralph and your family. We are always here for you and we have all lost a remarkable brother!

If nothing else, I want the family, friends and co-workers of Officer Andrew Esparza to know that there are folks all across this country that will be lifting you up in prayer before the Almighty.
May you each experience the eternal love and endless blessings of our Lord and Savior in the coming days.

MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF OFFICER ESPARZA. I DID NOT KNOW OFFICER ESPARZA BUT MY FAMILY LIVES IN IRVING AND THEY CONTACTED ME WITH THE NEWS. IT IS HEARTBREAKING TO ME TO HEAR OF ANY OFFICER'S DEATH WHETHER I KNEW THEM OR NOT. MAY GOD BLESS OFFICER ESPARZA AND HIS FAMILY, FOR HE IS NOW IN HEAVEN WITH OUR LORD. ALSO, MY PRAYERS FOR HIS FELLOW BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN BLUE.

As the mother of a fellow Irving police officer, I had heard Drew's name mentioned many times in our home. My son considered Drew a great friend and wonderful policeman, so I knew he was. Our country has lost a precious servant -- willing to do and go where most won't. He served with honor and integrity, as does his brother now, along with many other servants in blue. May God fill you with His grace and His strength during this difficult time. May you all know that Officer Esparza will not be forgotten. Thank you, Drew, for your service and commitment to the city of Irving.

Spent a week with Ofc. esparza at Bike School in Arlington Texas at the C.O.G. last month and had a great time with him and his fellow officers at the school. I am deeply honored to have met him and shared a meal with him during that week. Ofc. Esparza displayed the enthusiasm that we all strive for as officers and represented his Department with the utmost professionalism and honor.

You will be remembered

I SAW THE LORD

The place was white as snow
and pure as finest gold.
It had the look of new,
yet had the look of old.
I felt like I was home,
but felt so far away,
In fear I thought to leave,
but felt the urge to stay.
And then a silence fell
like none I'd ever known.
I stood among the millions,
I stood there all alone.
His face was like the sun,
His eyes were like the sea,
His voice was like the thunder
rolling through eternity.
And...
I saw the Lord
He was high and lifted up
and rightfully adored
And...
I saw the Lord
and He saw me.

And then from sleep awakened
I looked into the night.
The darkness overtaken
By a bright and shining light.
I couldn't understand it
I couldn't reason how,
And then my eyes beheld Him
I wasn't dreaming now
And...
I saw the Lord
He was high and lifted up
And rightfully adored,
And...
I saw the Lord

And He saw me. (by :DALLAS HOLM)
