Reflections for Police Officer Sean Robert Clark

My heart is heavy to hear of the loss of two more NC officers~ we've lost too many, too recently. When will it stop? I will keep your families and agency in my prayers. I know how far-reaching these losses are felt, and that many are affected. Thank you for your service, dedication and sacrifice. God rest you, Sir. HEROS NEVER DIE!!!

It is with great sorrow that we send this condolence. I just want to let you know that your law enforcement family loves and appreciates you. We know you did this job out of love and concern for your fellow man. It is a great sacrifice to go to work each shift, night or day, holiday or weekend, and never knowing what is awaiting you that day or night. We know you didn't do it for the money, or the excellent working conditions, or the popularity of the position. We know that each time your wife kissed you goodbye as you left for work, there was a fear deep within her that you would not return. Thank you for caring enough to do your job, and for making the ultimate sacrifice. It is so tragic, but your work is done. I hope you see Jesus' face and know that He is in control, and that He will take care of those you left behind. Rest in peace sir.

I am so very disheartened, angered and sickened to hear of this tragic, senseless and brutal crime against my brother officers. Our law enforcement family in North Carolina has had a hard start of 2007. I officer my deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of OFC Clark and the CMPD, which has suffered terrible losses and tragedy in its honorable history of guarding the Queen City and Mecklenburg County. This brave guardian in blue now walks a beat in Heaven with St. Michael's platoon, as his final roll call is over in this life is completed and he is now in a better place. While we mourn the loss, we must never forget to celebrate the life.

Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends, John 13:15. I pray that the vile cowardly animal(s) responsible for this attrocity are brought to swift justice. God bless and rest easy brother, we have the watch from here.

DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED. BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME. IN MY FATHERS HOUSE THERE ARE MANY DWELLING PLACES. IF IT WERE NOT SO, WOULD I HAVE TOLD YOU THAT I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU? AND IF I GO AND PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU, I WILL COME AGAIN AND WILL TAKE YOU TO MYSELF, SO THAT WHERE I AM, THERE YOU MAY BE ALSO. AND YOU KNOW THE WAY TO THE PLACE WHERE I AM GOING.
