I am lifting you and your family up in prayer during this very tragic time in your life. There are no words to express my sorrow to you and your family. May God hold you in his tender arms and provide you comfort during the days ahead. May he grant you peace in your soul. Know that your Faith in God will carry you through this time. We do not have answers when something tragic happens in our lives. We do however have our Faith in God. May your Faith grown during this time and bring you and your family closer to God. He will never let us down. We have to trust in him. He is in control. God bless you and your family.

With Hope and Peace, Cathy Charles

Alec and I are stunned and saddened by the deaths of Officers Clark and Shelton while answering a disturbance call. I am Crime Watch captain on my street and this has truly brought home how dangerous their jobs are. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with their families and loved ones. Kitty Musard

My heart is simply broken for this family. His wife but especially for this little boy who will grow up without his father and this unborn child who will never know it's father. This Officer took on a thankless job and paid the ultimate price. He did it well. He will now recieve his reward. I pray God will give this wife and mother strength and peace in her heart to raise the children of this "HERO". God bless you all.

In times like this I know of only one place to find rest. Yes, In Christ. I pray that you found God's rest and through this your whole family and all of your friends and brothers will know the rest that comes only from God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. When you ask in faith then you have received in faith from the gracious heavenly Father who loves and cares for each of you. He waits for you to ask and to seek Him. I know that He will comfort you if you lean on Him. Never run from Him, run to Him; the beginner and finisher of your faith. Yes, I know you ask. How God could let this happen? The Best I can tell you is that He Knows better than we do and the He needed my brother, my hero more than I and when I cried He cried with me and with you. Jesus Christ loves you and as your Heavenly Father, He wants to hold and comfort you when you hurt.

Officer Clark, I know a cop from your agency, I convey this message to whom I've stirred with the sound of my voice.Cops are cops.Cops are different.
Whatever compelling evidence the society can present, cops are made out of flesh and bones.I dwell in a frequency of light in which finite beings cannot uncover me, but I feel God with me, WHEREVER YOU ARE, PRAISE THE LORD.

Godspeed your family Officer Clark

My family and I are sadden by the officers sensless death. They entered the police department because they wanted to make a difference in our community. When I see a CMPD officer, I see safety, protection, courtesy and security. I hope Mr Montgomery is fully prosecuted and receives the appropriate sentence for preying on those officers. My thoughts and prayers go to the brave men and women of the CMPD and the fallen offocers'family.
