On today, the 90th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Lewis County. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

My dear great great grandfather, I want to thank you so much for your heroic actions, and ultimately the greatest sacrifice of all, your untimely death. Though we have never met, I am very proud to have the same heroic blood run through my veins.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 83rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
