i am the sister of a TPD officer and I am terrified everytime my brother goes out on the job. He knew Keith very well. Our prayers go out to the whole entire family and the TPD that they will ban together during this horrible tragedy and somehow get through this as a family.

Let us all be united in our collective grief and endeavor to keep Keith's memory alive in our hearts and minds. Sadly, this senseless tragedy must remind us to be ever vigilant and united in our mission as police officers, and to back each other up on calls to ensure that our family in blue will never have to lay to rest another hero.

As I heard the news of this senseless murder, my one thought was to flash back to 9/11/01...but this time it targeted my city...that feeling of numb returned.
