Always remembered & honored for his service & his ultimate sacrifice. I am so relieved to know that he was committed to the one true Lord who can bring all those who mourn his loss to a place where they will one day see Tony again.

Tony,
I met you about seven years ago through a friend, and have never been the same since. When you came into the restaurant, I knew instantly that you were quite an individual! Although we quit speaking about two years before you passed away, I still think of you and smile everyday. I love you very much and miss you terribly. I will always remember those blue eyes and smiling face. Thank you for your love, friendship, and positive attitude towards life. I will see you again one day. ^i^

Your brother wrote the most moving and beautiful story about your close love, friendship, and shared experiences. It was a beautiful tribute that brought tears to my eyes. It was published in a national magazine, and I know you are looking down with pride.

I was thinking about the time that you were out with Jim all day and we were waiting for you guys to get home to eat dinner. I sent a text to Jim jokingly demanding that he "bring back my Tony". He responded "He was mine first." He got me on that one. When you heard about it, you gave a big smile and said you would happily meet both of our demands. It's just one of thousands of moments that go through my mind throughout the day -- replaying over and over so clearly as if they just happened. You will always be in the hearts and minds of so many people who knew you well or simply encountered you as an officer or a passerby, each with their own Tony story.
You go by so many names such as "my Tony", "my son", "my little bro", "my friend" and even "Cabana boy". Each name comes with its own set of stories that won't be forgotten -- stories that bring tears to our eyes to recount but also make us smile knowing that new stories will come soon enough when we see you again. While it's very difficult, I know we need to stay focused on that moment when we will all be reunited. It gives us hope and makes it a little easier to get through each day.
You are missed so very much...SO VERY MUCH.
All my love,
-B

Today is your birthday Tony... over two years after you were killed... and I'm having a rough morning, ya know?

I'm gonna have breakfast with Mom in a little less than an hour... she's having a rough morning too.

I've never visited this site until today... but I can see how many lives you touched.

I love you bro... miss you every day. I know I'll see you again and, in the grand scheme of eternity, I won't have missed you long.

Tony, you are so terribly missed. It doesn't get any better, and there are no words to describe how sad, devastated, frustrated, angry it feels to no longer hear your voice and be held by you. You said you would always be here for me and would never leave my side, so I know you are with me. You are not gone.
I pray for your family and for your brother officers. Please do what you can to keep them safe. As the days pass, I hold my breath praying that there won't be news of another officer's death. Unfortunately, it eventually comes, along with the tears for that officer and his/her family and friends. Such senseless loss brings so much pain.
I love you, babe. I know that I will see you again. Please be with your family, and please be with me. I need you so much.

I didn't know of officer Holly until John Walsh honored him today, May 31, on Americas Most Wanted. We need people like Officer Holly to stand in the gap and shield us from the evil that exists in this world. Thank you Officer Holly, for your uncommon bravery.

Tony worked for me when he was in the Air Force. If you look at his performance reports you will see my name on them. I heard of his passing tonight during a broadcast of America’s Most Wanted and I was stunned. He was an exemplary young man, one of the best troops I encountered during 22 years of service, and I am sure that as a police officer he was always polite and considerate of those he encountered, no matter the circumstance. Though it is greatly belated, I would like for his loved ones to know that those of us who knew Tony in the Air Force thought very highly of him and feel great sorrow at this news of his passing. God bless.

Dear Family and Friends of Officer Holly-
I happened across this website while checking out the City of Glendale. My daughter is applying to teach at the elementary school district there.

I worked for 8 years for the Chula Vista Police Dept. in So. California before moving to Washington. We were a family at that Department, as all law enforcement is, and I prayed regularly for the safety of our officers who put their lives on the line daily for us. I was blessed to work in the community doing Crime Prevention and other education programs and I was privileged to work with many officers who shared Tony's passion for life, for helping and serving others, who wanted to make a difference in the lives of children and who were and are outstanding role models.

I know the Lord Jesus Christ as my own and will be glad to meet Tony some day in heaven. Just to read all the reflections here is a testimony to your wonderful mother and family. I wish I could hug his mother, I know a mother's heart for her son.

I am very touched by how God used Tony's life and just imagining how joyful and full His life is now in Heaven.

Blessings,
Wendy

Tony- it has been one year and you are still missed so much. We are all going to get together tonight to honor you with one of our usual bar-b-ques. As always, it will seem odd since you will not be able to stop by like you use to. Aiden misses you a lot and talks a lot about you. If anything, he admires police officers even more now because he really understands that it is such a dangerous job and you never know if you will return home from your shift. We thank you for caring about our little boy, who you made such an impact on. It is sad he was only 7 when you died. We wish you were able to live longer with us, but take solace that you are watching over all of us in heaven. God bless.

Tony, it's been one year and everyday we think about you. Everyday we miss you as we drive down Oregon, actively doing our jobs. Everytime we see the kids playing in the neighborhood it reminds us to keep doing the right thing, so the kids can have a happy and safe childhood. Something you worked for brother. As you sit with God, please watch over your brothers and sisters.
