Reflections for Police Officer Charles J. Callemyn

The entire community is saddened by the loss of Officer Callemyn because he put the welfare of others first and made the ultimate sacrifice for his honorable aspirations. His service was more meaningful than he probably ever imagined. He will be dearly missed.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God[a]; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4You know the way to the place where I am going." - John 14:1

To the family, loved ones, friends and all who wear the badge of law enforcement. Another young officer has lost his life, in such a tragic accident. Right now the words we send to you and our thoughts don't seem like they are enough. In time GOD will wrap his arms around you and he will let you remember all the good times you had and the wonderful memories. Right now it is deep sorrow, and pain.
"DO NOT WEEP"

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there, I do not sleep

I am a thousand winds that blow

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,

I am the swift, uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.

I am not there. I did not die.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
