HOW YOU COULD "STUFF" YOURSELF INTO THE TINY LOCKERS WHEN WE HAD TO PRACTICE SEARCHES. A REAL CONTORTIONIST! YOU WERE QUIET AT TIMES, TARAVAL HAD A SURPRISE WHEN YOU ARRIVED! WE'LL MISS YOU. Officer Tuvera as a fellow LEO of the bay area, it is such a shame that your family will have to remember Christmas(usually a happy time) as a time when you lost your life keeping the public safe. May god bless you and may he give your family the strength to persevere. Thank you for your service.

Here we are leaving our thoughts and prayers to the family, loved ones and to the brothers and sisters who wear the badge of law enforcement. Another senseless act by another person who did not have any thoughts of killing another person. Here at the holidays and the shot can be heard all over the world.
"A Part Of America Died",
Somebody killed a policeman today,
And part of America died.
A piece of our country he swore to protect,
Will be buried with him at his side.
The suspect that shot him will stand up in court,
With counsel demanding his rights.
While a young widowed mother must work for her kids,
And spend many long lonely nights.
The beat he walked was a battle field too
just as if he had gone off to war.
Though the flag of our nation won't fly at half mast,
To his name they will add a gold star.
Yes, somebody killed a policeman today,
In your town or mine,
While we slept in comfort behind locked doors,
A cop put his life on the line.
Now his ghost walks a beat on a dark city street,
And stands at each new rookies' side.
He answered the call,of himself and gave his all,
And a part of America died.

Officer Tuvera loved the job he was doing, knowing when he left his family that it could be his last. Another HERO has been lost to us and he will always be remembered by all.
