This man pictured here was a great person and friend to many in the city. Getting together last night to remember him at the station house with his family and friends; it is easy see why he was loved. The value of a life has sometimes been measured by those you leave behind. After seeing the calibre and character of those who were in attendance demonstrated to me that Danny had a golden life! Priceless! He will always be remembered, respected, and missed! My best to his immediate family. Wyatt sure looks good. Clearly lots of love in that house! Lest we forget! See ya Danny Boy!

I can't believe how 3 yrs can go by so fast and yet so slow at the same time. You and your family are thought of every day. Everything has changed since you were taken from us, but I want your family to know that even in death, you are still changing lives for the better. I just found out they found the kid guilty who shot you. I wanted to stop by to say hi because it has been so long since I left a message. Sorry it took so long. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. The short time I knew you you always were happy and fair to everyone. I will pass that on in my career in law enforcement.

Happy Easter! I have been trying to do everything double for you this year...I got up EXTRA early for sunrise service, I ate like 8 helpings of brunch (4 for me and 4 for you) and I even took 2 naps this afternoon. It's been hard work...miss you buddy, I have 4 days off that I would love to spend on very important activities like driving to Tecate with you for tortas and coke in a bottle.

Hey Danny... it's been so long since I've left any thoughts here... but I think about you and Tony every single day... I still can't believe you aren't here and although I try to think about some of the fun moments we shared, it just hurts! But, I know what you'd say to me, suck it up and move along... just remember, don't let it keep you from living and laughing and finding the good in life...

I was having lunch with a friend the other day... I hadn't seen her in years and she lost her twin sister a while back... she told me when her sister was dying she told her, "Pay attention... there are no coincidences"... when she said that it made me think of some of the times that I thought about you at the oddest times... now, I pay attention...

Danny Boy,
I thought about calling you for enchiladas and cervezas last night, but then I thought I had better not bother that creepy lady who has your phone number now. We had a good time with friends and some laughter, so hard we cried, just a little. That's what I miss the most. That and going out surfing just to hang out and justify Juanita's rolled tacos afterwards...don't worry, Richie and I are still doing that. Miss you buddy.
