OFFICER FREETO, YOU REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND. I SALUTE YOU! MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU, YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES. I THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. YOU DID NOT LOSE YOUR LIFE, YOU GAVE IT IN SERVICE TO OTHERS. A TRUE HERO INDEED.

THOSE CLOSE TO THIS HERO, PLEASE TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT I, ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS ACROSS THIS LAND, GRIEVE WITH YOU. KEEP HIM IN YOUR HEART, AND PASS HIS STORY ALONG. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.

JOB WELL DONE, OFFICER.

ANOTHER SENSELESS DEATH AT THE HANDS OF A DRUNK DRIVER. WHEN WILL THEY GET IT? WE NEED NEW LAWS. SAY JAIL TIME AND TEN YEARS LOSS OF LICENSE, FIRST OFFENSE, WITH NO PROVISIONAL LICENSES. THE SAD PART IS, THEY ARE CHARGED WITH VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER INSTEAD OF MURDER.

To Mrs. Freeto and children,

Words can not express the sadness that I feel for you and your family. I know your pain and know that words can not take it away. My husband, Officer Brian Jackson of Dallas Police, was killed last year in the line of duty (EOW 11-13-05).
Please if there is ever anything that I can do for you know that I am here. Let your COP family surround you and help you through this. Know that your huband is a HERO to us all and will never be forgotten.

To the Officers of the Fort Worth Police Department, be strong and help one another through out this tragic event. If I can help any of you please let me know.

God Bless you all and my prayers are with you all.
