I hate to see that yet another intoxicated individual has killed an officer. I pray that the justice of God fall on this individual, for God is a loving and JUST God. I wonder if we will see a day when drunks no longer endanger us and our families. May God bless the Larsen family and keep them close to Him during this tragic time.

Our family grieves with the family, friends, and co-workers of Deputy Sheriff Larsen, who was killed while performing his duties protecting and serving the citizens of Bryan County.

To Deputy Sheriff Larsen's wife and three children: there are far too many families who, sadly, understand the difficult path you now must travel. You are not alone, and the Georgia chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors will be there to listen and comfort.

Deputy Sheriff Larsen, you will not be forgotten; rest in peace, sir.
