Jordan,
Words cannot describe this horrible time. I can't believe this has happened and I will always treasure your ever lasting huge last Thursday night at the Sand Creek Sub. You were always such a great friend and person and always found a way to light up a room with your smile and tenderness. I will always treasure our friendship and you will never be forgotten. I keep thinking about the times when you used to watch Tracey's cats and take naps with them. You were such an awesome uncle to them. Make sure you say hi to Paco and take care of him as well. You are such an amazing person and police officer and will be so dearly missed.

Rest in Peace my brother.

Brother,

You have not died in vain. Your shift is not over yet. You will be called upon in the future to finish out your shift. Like Deputy Cox and those who have gone before him. There will come a day when an Officer/Deputy will be alone and in pain. They will be in need of someone to comfort them and show them the way home. That is when you will be called upon to finish out your shift. Rest now brother, we will finish what you have started.

Dear Ken:
This is becoming an all too often event: writing a reflection to a fallen brother. Although it is my honor and priviledge to do so, writing this reflection still saddens me.
Your service, your dedication, your professionalism will now serve as a testimony to your legacy. For you are a hero in every sense of the word. And, you will forever be one of America's Finest. The suspect will face justice, that's a given. But still, it won't bring you back to the law enforcement community, or to your family.
At this time of year, I am certain that this tragedy has to be particularly painful to your famliy. No mere words of mine, or anyone else can ease that pain. But my prayer for them, and to you, Ken, is that the love and peace of our Father in Heaven may yours forever. And as you look down on us, know we have the watch, and continue to serve in your spirit and in your honor. Rest in peace, my brother. Amen

Ken,

For the second time this year I have received that dreaded phone call. I am just in shock and can not believe this is happening. First Jared and now you, two of the finest individuals I have ever worked with. I cherish the time we did have together and I hold many fond memories of our times together. You truly made an impact on everyone's life and you were an inspiration to us all.

I hope you can rest in peace knowing you have made such a difference in people's lives. I feel safer now knowing that the heavens are being patrolled by two of Colorado Springs finest.

We will keep you and your family forever in our prayers!

Officer Jordan, all I can say is that your families work and home are in my prayers. I believe two things; first, that your murderer will truly face justice, if not in this world, then in the next. Second, that you will never really be taken from those who know and love you, as you will always be a part of them.

God Bless, Brother, and may you Rest in Peace.

Rest in Peace fallen brother in blue. You will not be forgotten, and will be greatly missed. We find comfort knowing you are patrolling the streets of heaven watching over us still here.
