I cannot believe it has been 9yrs Dennis, still think about you periodically especially when I look at my pool cues or play. Want you to know even 9 yrs later...I am still very good, even with glasses now. I reckon we will play again someday and you can redeem yourself.

Dennis... I never got the privilege to work with you. We met on a more personal matter... while you were working with ECSO. All i have to really say is...You did me right... now I work with a great group of Deputies... some of which you would refer to as family/brothers/sisters....as I do. God speed brother...we all miss you. I know your "fishing in a better place now". I...and several others carry your numbers daily.

Dennis, I remember we had lunch at the Stone House Grill a few days before you left us. RPD could always count on you to give us a good laugh at the dinner table....or while on scene! Rest well brother

I can not believe it has been eight years since you left us brother. My heart aches as I can still hear the echoes of your last call. Those were by far the hardest days of my life after your passing. You were the one who treated my like family from day one and made me feel right at home. And it still feels like a dream to me. It seems like only yesterday we were all joking and sitting around the squad room. Your personality was so big it filled the S.O. and it has never been the same without you. There is a void left behind that has never been filled. You made it so much fun to come to work. And I will always thank you for that. I wish we all had more time with you, however, I will be forever grateful for the time we were given. Love and miss you my friend. It still hurts almost a decade later. Till we meet again Flav!!

Flav,
Six years have come and gone. A lot has changed around here. One thing has remained the same, we miss you. There are days I feel as if you are there, teasing me as you always did. Until we meet again my friend, I will keep up my end.

Dennis,
I can't believe it's been six years since you let us. The department never was the same without you my man. I went to pursue my goals we use to talk about. Thank you for the motivation and encouragement. But most of all thank you for the absolute privilege of being one of the fortunate ones to have known you and been able to call you my brother!!!

As I sit in class today and watch a video about you I am reminded how much has changed since we last spoke. I miss you Flav like it was only yesterday. I will see you whenever my watch is over. Hopefully there is a Huddle Puddle there so we can hang out again like the old days after shift change. Until then my brother....

Happy Birthday in heaven Chris. Noah sure does miss you. Hard to believe he turned 14 Saturday. The older he gets the more he looks like you. Wish you were here to watch him grow into a young man. You would be very proud of him.

Dennis,
I remember the night that I found out about the accident that took your life. I, along with everyone else that knew you, was in a state of shock entirely!
YOU were a one-of-a-kind officer that didn't allow the "badge" to go to your head. You always treated people with respect, as long as the respect was given back to you.
I didn't get to see and visit with you often, but when I did, it was always such a pleasure. You were smart, witty, and HUMAN! Again, you treated people equal, one of the fine characteristics that I admired about you!
I never pass the place on Jimmy Deloach that I don't think of you and wish that you was still with us here on earth. However, I know that you are in a MUCH BETTER PLACE, and knowing you, you have everyone there laughing!! A sense of humor is one of the best traits a person can have, and yours was exceptional!
Rest in peace, Dennis... Until we meet again!

Corporal Dennis Wright, I had heard your name and story before, but tonight I ran into someone with a sticker on their car with your name on it and we got to talking. Between listening to them, reading your messsages, and hearing from everyone I knew that knew you, you sir were an amazing person, and lived the life by example. I never personally met you but one day I will get to and I look forward to that. Thoughts and Prayers to your family during this holiday season and whatever the Lord needed you for I am sure you are handling the task well. Til next time, God Bless you Sir

Happy Birthday Chris. I miss you so does Noah. He talks about you every day. Wish you were here to watch him grow up. The older he gets the more he looks like you. You would be proud of the young man that he is becoming.

Dennis,
Well, it took me this long to get here. I find it hard to think about, much less talk about our tragic night together. The harder I try not to think about it, the more it consumes me. I try to remember the good times we spent together, but those times are shadowed with tragedy. I don't think there is a day that passes that I don't think of you. They say the things that don't kill you only make you stronger, but at times I don't feel strong at all. Since that night, I have tried to make the best of the life the Good Lord spared. I now have a beautiful little girl (Madison) that without that life wouldn't have been possible. I am so very grateful. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Brother, know that you are missed and will never be forgotten. I'm so sorry it took this long to reflect, but every time I tried it was too hard.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the third anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I can see that your family misses you very much. I am sure you continue to watch over Jennifer, Noah and your other loving family mmbers and friends. I pray for their solace.

Rest In Peace

Flav,
Three years have come and gone but it still hurts like it was today. I still regret not giving in to you and staying at home that night. You are missed and I can only find comfort knowing that I will one day get to hang out again. Until that day my friend....
