You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We have lost 3 NYS Troopers in the line of duty this year, and 2 others, so we know the pain you are all feeling right now. Words cannot express our sorrow. God Bless all of you! Rest in Peace Deputy Tephford. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Us, the willing
Led by the unknowing
Are doing the impossible
For the ungreatful.

We have been doing it for so long
With so little
That we are now qualified to do anything

With nothing.

Condolences to the family of Deputy Tephford, who can know that he had the most honorable job of all. I have visited Tamarac (Ft Lauderdale) area before, and it just shows that even in such a beautiful area, there are always cowards such as the one who shot Deputy Tephford. On behalf of the people in Broward County, I say thank you to you for your service and bravery to have gone out and done that job.

Tired. One can grow tired of going to so many law enforcement funerals.
Another brother has fallen to the grim reality of life has to offer. Where people choose to take a life instead of enhancing there own.
Sick world that surrounds us with so much hate, hurt and pain. We in law enforcement know that these things are a part of our daily life. A life that we chose to have knowing that we may not be able to walk through the front door again.
Why do we do what we do? Because no one has else has the guts! Plain and simple. People wonder why we do what we do and say "Man I wouldnt do you job." Guts
ANGER that another member of the law enforcement community for what reason? None.
and SENSELESS
Brian we pray that God will keep you in his arms and hold you until we meet again.
