I visited the National Law Enforcement Memorial in DC this past Saturday to pay my respects to BPA James P. Epling. While there I prayed and asked God that if he ever again needed more officers or agents, that he take only the ones that he can not due without. Later that night I was deeply sadden to hear that he had taken you just the day before. You are safe now. You have a much greater calling and that is to protect and comfort your family and watch over the rest of us down here.

My heart goes out to your family and loved ones for their loss. The Patrol lost a brother on Friday but in our hearts you will live on forever.

God bless you Senior Patrol Agent Webb and may God bless you family.

Honor First, Honor Forever,

ASCENSION

And if I go,
While you’re still here---
Know that I live on,
Vibrating to a different measure
--behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me,
So you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar together again,
--both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And when you need me,
Just whisper my name in your heart,
…I will be there.

We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of a loved one in law enforcement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support. As we personally know, sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten.
