Working at 911 that day. A very, very sad time for all of us.

As a member of the dive team that day I realized that we lost one of our strongest members. It wasnt long after his death that the county lost its dive team and we at Auburn had set our priorities aside. I am proud to say that Auburn is revisiting the dive team program and is in the stages of bringing it back.

6 years have gone by and it seems like just yesterday I was giving you that farewell kiss (having no idea) and telling you to be careful. The older the boys get the more they remind me of you not just cause they look like you but things they say or do. Thanks for the memories.

Five years have certainly gone by fast but not one memory has faded. As part of our bedtime routine with Lyla we tell her about someone in her family ..we told her about you a few nights ago because we want her to know how special you are to us. Can't wait to tell her more! Miss you and love you!

Missing someone gets easier every day because even though it's one day further from the last time you saw each other, it's one day closer to the next time you will. ~Author Unknown

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 5h anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for your family and friends.

Rest In Peace

Dear Dave,

I cannot believe it has been five long years without you. We miss you daily. Jeromey is growing up to be a very handsome and smart young man. You would be very proud of him. Brock is also growing and growing into a smart little man, they both remind us of you. We are very lucky to have Dawn and the boys in our life. Miss you daily

HI Uncle Dave,
Been thinking about you tons lately especially since we've had new additions to our family. The birth of Vanessa and Matt's Charlotte and our Lyla have truly been blessings. I can't wait to tell Lyla about you! Thanks for keeping watch over us each and everyday. Love you and miss you Chowderhead.

I wanna be the one
When all is said and done
Who lived a good life, loved a good wife, and always helped someone in trouble
On the day they lay me down
I want everyone to gather ‘round
And say he was a father, brother, neighbour and a friend
He was a good man!

I can't imagine you any other way.

My Dearest Bro:

Happy 45th. I wish so you were here to celebrate your birthday. I miss you and really could use some guidance with family issues. If you could send me a sign to help me along the way that would be great.

Have a Happy Birthday in heaven. Love you,

Dear fellow officer

I am a member of the Secret Service in the Republic of Croatia, Central Europe.I just on a Croatian internet portal read about finding the body of murdered boy in Maine. The whole story touched me deeply in the heart,I almost cried when I saw a picture of a little angel lying dead. Please, in the name of God and justice, find the culprits and bring them to justice.
