My dad and Landon were partners when Landon was a CHP Officer. I remember him coming over and how nice he was. He became a part of our family and will truly be missed. Our prayers go out to his family and friends.

I have known Officer Landon Dorris since he was a young man. We are so proud of Landon and the loyalty, dedication and now the final sacrifice that he has made for all of us. Landon loved his job and all of his fellow officers. May his family rest in peace and may fond memories of their loved one help them through this tragedy. God Bless all of his family & fellow men & women in "Blue".

I just found out about Landon's death today and was so shocked. I worked with Landon at the CHP Santa Ana office before he joined LAPD. Landon was a great guy, a good cop, and someone I am proud to have known. My thoughts are with his family and friends. We will miss you Landon!

Hey Landon,
I still can't believe this is real. Every time someone talks to me I only hear your voice and a flashback of all the good times we had. It's hard to think that there will be no more times together.

We will be here to take care of your family. May you rest in peace....I know you are listing to George Strait and smilling down on us...Rudy JR says whats up
Talk to you soon brother.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family and with your family in blue. Tragic losses of an officer are beyond understanding. I understand the loss of a brother officer and what it means to have the support of others in our line of work. Godspeed brother.
