I know you are in heaven watching over us. Please help us and continue being our guardian Angel. Hey, Christmas is around the corner and I can't believe how time flies. so much has changed since you left us. People have moved on, others have passed but your memory will live with us forever.

Dan, I wanted to ask you if you have seen my Dad up in Heaven. He is the most sweetes man you will find. You can't miss him, he should be sitting right by God's side. In fact his name on this eath was Jesus. He is light skin, puggy face, has a smile that lights up ths skies and he even looks like Santa.

Hey Dan if you ever come across him please tell him that I love him. It has been 11 years and it feels like it was yesterday. Please give him a big hug for me and and tell him your my guardina angels.

Good Morning dear brother-in-law,

As everyone else, I cannot believe that 3 years have passed. It seems like yesterday that we received the tragic news of your accident. Ironically, this past Saturday, the 17th, I took a friend to the YNNH emergency room. When he called, I grabbed clothes and practically dressed as I was walking out the door. You must have known, because on my back, was the "Roll Call" sweatshirt that I purchased during my first visit to Nationl Police Week. As Derek lay in his bed, begging for relief from his discomfort, I found myself reflecting on the fact that there I sat, begging for your recovery, 3 short years ago. It still seems so unimaginable..... much has changed... and how the children have grown... It saddens us all to have lost Pauly recently, but at the same time, it comforts us to know that the two of you are together again. We love & miss you both so very much. XOXOXOXO

Dad, I can't believe today makes it 3 years since you were taken from us ! It feels like it was just the other day that I lost an important part of my life. Time is flying by but the memories of you are still here and always will be. I went to 2 yankees playoff games, just wasn't the same with out you right next to me. I still have the ticket stub from the last game we went to together. You are in a much better place now, probaly playing cards with Uncle Paulie. Continue to watch over our family, I miss you more then one can imagine and would do anything to be with you another day. I love you so much Dad !!!

It's been some time since I stopped by 2 leave a thought. So much has happened since you left us. Time has gone by so fast but the memories of you never go away.
You touched so many lives including mine with your kindness, ambition, love and passion for what you did that how can ANYONE 4get someone like you.

Please watch over all the New Haven kids that we worked with for I'm not there now to carry the torch.
It has almost been 3 years and it still feels like it was yesterday. Continue to be our guardian Angel please.

Your kids are growing so fast and following your foot steps. I am so proud of them.
October is a difficult month for me so please help me make it through. The good memories we shared with DEFY and all the work we did together will always be with me forever.

Omg your baby is 16 today...doesnt seem possible, where did the time go. This sucks you not being here for these occasions, why why why!!!!I hope some day i will find the answers cause till then I have a hard time with the special things...I cant imagine how the kids get thru...They are all amazing, you would be so proud... The boys are doing so well at the pit, Matt almost hit one out, that would of been for you. Boy are they growing so fast, well you know. I know you are with each of them every day. Thinking of ya, what else is new. Nothing worse than hearing about such trajedy, i feel so bad for those families and the four officers who lost their lives. Provide them the strength they need to get through such a thing, as you did for us, so long ago. So much has changed but missing you will never get easier. Thomas made captain, varsity hockey team, can you believe it, I can cause one would think he is yours. He plays with determination and is so competitive, gee i wonder where he got that from, I know he truely misses you and thinks of you all of time, as do a bunch of us. Baseball is around the corner, and I know you'll be there, See you at the pit my friend. Missing you much and thinking of you often.

It's been a while since I've been here, but this week, Oakland P.D. lost four officers in the line of duty. Like you, they paid the ultimate sacrifice! My heart breaks for them and their families, just like it did when God needed you as his helper. It opened up all the emotions for me again, and made me realize again how precious life is and that we need to live it to its fullest. I miss you, we all miss you. I know you are up there watching over Dee and the kids, it obvious by how amazing they all are doing. You would be so proud. I can't believe you've been gone for over two years already. Miss you!
