I miss you

September 5, 2007

Mike...

I miss seeing your "mug" on the streets. Everyone misses you. It was always great talking with you...hearing your "war stories". It was a pleasure to work with you.

Its almost been a year since you have left us on that dark day in October. I think back at the times we worked together both good and bad. I remember you and me carrying the casket of another fallen brother, Jeremy Charron, a day we will never forget and I will never forget walking with you from Manchester PD to Fischer Cat Stadium. My prayers are always going out to you and your family. We all miss you!

When I look at your picture I cant explain the pain it causes to think we wont see you again. There is not a minute that goes by that I am not thinking about you.Your family misses you more than you will ever know. When this happened it took a piece of us with you. Things are definitely not the same without you and there are no words to even explain how much we want you back.I miss you..........

Mike was one of the best guys i ever knew. I served with Mike in the USMC in Sigonella, Sicily, and Souda Bay, Crete, Greece from 1991 until 1993. He was a close friend during my time in the service. We had lots of good tinmes, times that will last forever in my memory. My heart goes out to his family and they will always be in my prayers. God Bless you, mike. I love you and will never forget you!!.

Remember the time we jumped the fence to go out on our own liberty in Souda Bay!!!!!!!And the Gunny caught us in the bar!!!???

June 1, Neighbors for a Better Manchester held a "Meet and Greet" your Neighborhood Watch groups. We were fortunate enough to have Gov. John Lynch present, Mayor Guinta, US Attorney Thomas Colontuano, Assist. Attorney General "Bud" Fitch, Chief Jaskolka, Deputy Chief Leidmer, Deputy Chief Simmons and Deputy Chief Marc Lussier, Sgt Kevin Kincaid and Officer Dana Langton. It is so obvious how you still are so present in everyones lives. Our organization gave the Governor a picture of your sons Mitchell and Brian playing catch with him in front of the NH Fisher Cats bull pin the evening your badge was retired, the same evening that the MPALS (Manchester Police Athletic League) was renamed after you.
Our governor was extremely touched by the photo. Your memory will live forever, your name stands tall on a renamed building and your retired badge number lives in Fisher Cat Stadium, just as your memory lives in the heart of the City of Mnachester NH

Good Bless you Officer Briggs

Ofc. Briggs, In these last seven months I have not gone a day without remembering your sacrifice, your funeral, or the family you left here. I pray that you have found peace in Heaven, and that somehow, comfort and solice has been found by your loved ones. We just lost another brother in Franconia NH and it saddens me that another family has to go through what yours did. I pray for your loved ones everyday.
Rest in Peace

To the family of Officer Briggs,

Six months ago my best friend got a life-saving lung transplant. Because of your selflessness during the worst days of your life I know that I will have her friendship for a long time to come. There are so many who are eternally grateful to you, know that we will always remember you and your loss. I think about you often even though we have never met. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

You saved my best friend's life
