To all those who loved and were loved by Kevin, may you truly grasp these words shared at the funeral of Officer Tara Drummond, EOW 9/13/05, by her 17 year old sister, and find comfort in them in time:

Love never ends, it just changes shape.

When that soft breeze blows across your face - that is Kevin - when you feel the warmth of the sun on your skin -that is Kevin, when the rain drops fall from the sky on to your hand - that is Kevin. He is saying, "I'm still here, I'm near, I'm always close by, I'm still loving you as much as you love me..."

The Weeks Family,

It was five months ago today that Kevin was at my husband's side as he lay along the side of the road. It gave me comfort to know that he was there for Rob. I will always be thankful to him. In this same way I hope it gives you some comfort to know that a Good Samaritan was at Kevin's side to offer caring words and a steady hand in his time of need.

Eventhough it doesn't lessen the pain, it does give a little sense of peace knowing that this precious soul left this world doing something he loved and believed in.

Kevin will always be a Hero to me and my family.

My heart grieves with you...

With love,

Please accept our heartfelt condolences to the Weeks family and friends. It just breaks my family's heart to come read yet another fallen officer from Az. we hope to not see any names on here but it hurts even more when it hits so close to home. Please know your family is in our thoughts and prayers, and yet once again God has taken another angel in blue to patrol the safe streets in heaven. When my husband died last Sept. I thought my world was going to shatter and break but as hard as it is...we still find strength from God above to survive and you will too....God Bless You All....Love, Christy Rios and Family
