Robbie you were a dear friend, a fellow brother, you were a family man, and you were a friend to all as well as a role model. I am deeply going to miss you. We had our fun and laughs over coffee at sheetz and im going to miss that. You were a man of accountability and integrity and we all knew we could always count on you to be there when we needed. I know when I called for help in that pursuit, I knew you were coming with everything you had because we were fellow brothers fighting the same war. We are all going to miss you. God bless you and your family. You were someone that sure made a difference to all. Love ya bro. William - 656

Its hard to believe that your gone from us. I enjoyed working with you when I was in Powhatan and I have so many great memories. I feel that I am blessed to have had you as a friend. I have yet to meet another officer that puts more heart into the job than you do and Powhatan has suffered a great loss. We are all gonna miss you so much Robbie, you are truely the heart of The Powhatan Sheriffs Office. Rest easy my friend, your watch is complete. We will keep you in our hearts as we carry on.

Whenever i would see deputy Green i always think about the time he came to Thomas's house. He waited for the rest of the officers and adults to go away and he hung around and got down on his knee to our eye level and was extremely nice. He knew the right words to say to calm a teenager down. He has a big heart and everytime i would see him who ever i was with i'd point and tell them that story and talk about how nice he is.

When i heard the devastating news, it took my breath away, and i tried to hold back tears. I am going to miss seeing him around the high school sporting events tremendously! He is so nice and i will never forget him. He never knew it but he was a role model to me, and i looked up to him. I have thought about him alot latley as i am going to college thinking about my future careers.

To his family, yall are all in my prayers, and i am so very sorry!!

My friend Robbie (Tanker 27), was not only a great shift partner, but a true friend to me and my family. I have many memories from checking details, meeting for cups of coffee, to mountain bike riding outside the job. When I think of a true and genuine person, I think of Robbie. Where there was a smile, there was Robbie. Not only will his family miss him dearly, but his the County of Powhatan and its citizens will as well, but most imporantly, so will I. Robbie, brother- your tour of duty is over, but your legacy will be forever remembered. Love you---Josh
