Reflections for Officer Rufus L. Biggers

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 72nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to the native state of myself and my cherished son Larry Lasater who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. and then bringing him back to face justice.

Rest In Peace.

I have never met you, but I salute you. I am not a police officer yet, but hope to continue on in the footsteps of great men and women like you.
