To the wife, father and sister of Sheriff Callin I offer my most sincere condolences.
What kind of world do we live in...has everyone gone mad...because you may be pulled over to be ticketed you think you have the right to deliberately take a life.
I am totally disgusted by what happened and my heart goes out to this family in the loss of their loved one.
May God's perpetual light shine upon the soul of Sheriff Michael Callin and may he rest in His eternal peace.
I pray that God gives this family the graces they will need to cope with this heartbreak during this very difficult and sad time.
With my deepest sympathy.

Deputy Callin I was e-mailed about your passing today.Im sorry for you and your family. Im going to college right now for criminal justice and when I get out Im going to be a police officer.I have to say my 11 year old daughter is'nt to happy about it, but I told her I will be alright, but if something was to happen, she has to be strong.I told her and my family if something was to happen in the line of duty, know that I died doing what made me enjoy life and that's all that matters. YOU AND OTHERS ARE MY STRENGTH.

Dear Callin Family,

Your family and your faith have impacted this agency and community much more than you know. Despite all you have gone through, you have persevered with faith and love, and your faith and love have penetrated the souls of many.

This tragic earthly loss has turned into an incredible heavenly gain and I know that Mike has been "welcomed home" by our heavenly Father. I am so proud to have known Mike as a "Brother on the Force" and as a "Brother in Christ". Mike, you are a true hero.

Dave, Anna and family, my prayer for you is that God will comfort you through this time and through the difficult years to come. I also pray that through this tragedy, others will come to know our Lord and Savior. I know that is what Mike would want.

May God bless your family, for you all gave the ultimate sacrifice. You graciously gave your son, your brother and your husband. What more could anyone give?

I love you all,

JT
