Hey buddy I was just thinking about you today and I know you are up there in Heaven with all of our other brothers and sisters looking down on us... I joined FALEO back in December of 2010 and I know if you were here you would be a member as well....You and Brian T were honored at the First Annual Scholarship Dinner in honor of you and Brian.... Your parents and Holly and new baby "Nic" were all there and it was really nice.... Everyone misses you and we bring up crazy academy stories all the time.....Rest in Love bro until we all meet again.....

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 4th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. I have shared moments with your family as we honor all our heroes, and they are in my heart's embrace today. Semper Fi.

Rest In Peace.

A bunch of Bayview guys traveled back to Washington DC last week to honor you and other SFPD fallen heros. We again told stories of you and Issac in fond memory. Going to NLEM and joining the thousands of other cops toasting you and their comrade-in-arms is uplifting and renews our sense of duty. Yet seeing the many devestated families who lost a loved one reminds us all of how precarious this job and this life is.

Hey Nick,
I can't believe its been three years since you left us. We keep living as you would want us to, but you are definitely a missing part of our lives. I think back to what a generous, giving, loving and happy person you were and God knows I miss you. One does not come across a person like you often, I feel your loss each and every day. I love you Nick!

A couple of days ago, most of the watch was in the lunchroom enjoying our camaraderie when your name popped up. We reminisced how we served with you, shared meals with you and your love of Hawaiian pizza, and how we poked fun at each other. We were proud to tell many of the new Bayview cops, many of them on probation, what a terrific person and generous human being you were. Sometimes when things look bleak in the cop world, you my friend, are a shinning beacon and a good reason why we do this job.

Hey there Nick! I bet you thought I forgot about you huh? Well I haven't and I think about you all the time...Unfortunately I think about you, Isaac and Brian T. even more when another officer is down.....This past weekend we had fellow police officers from OPD join you all in "Police Officer's Heaven"..... You are all in peace now and I can't wait for the day that we all meet again......I miss you Nick and I'll always keep you close to my heart...... Ia manuia kou malaga.....

i didnt know you, but as a fellow officer in this wide brother/sister hood of officers i would just like to express my thoughts. from what i have read you seemed like a fine officer and a credit to your force. i would also like to say that as a serving officer in the uk i wish my supervisorshad the courage speak out in our support in the way yours have in defence of you carrying out your role as a decicated offier, rather than accepting the critisim leveled at us. god bless my friend and sleep well

Merry Christmas Nick...
Even though we worked together briefly, I'll never forget working with you at Bayview. Like all officers at Bayview, your professionalism and dedication to duty were second to none.

You keep popping into my head, as I am reminded of how much you loved this time of the year.

Thoughts of you and I searching for purple ornaments for your Mom's tree...

Your precious smile when you gave a gift to a child in need.

You...miss you.
