Rest in peace always knowing that your service and sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren.

Detective Cpl/3 Steven Rizzo
Delaware State Police (Retired)

Now, it's 109 years. We may, as human beings, forget from day to day, your sacrifice. So many have gone before you and since, it boggles the mind and weighs heavy on the soul. But know full well, Brother, that we always have you somewhere in the back of our minds and in some part of our hearts.

NO, fallen Brother is ever FULLY forgotten and that is in part thanks to this website. It is also in part thanks to the national POLICE MEMORIAL in D.C.

We may lose track. We may forget an individual, but we NEVER forget entirely our Brothers and Sisters who have paid the ultimate price, made the ultimate sacrifice and took up the beat on Heaven's streets.

The collective remembrance is always with us. Names, faces, departments become blurred, but the collective loss is NEVER forgotten and each and every one of you, no matter who employed you, is with us every single day and at the beginning of every single shift.

Detective Stewart, 15 months is not a long time on the job, but I believe you made an impact on the A,T,&SF Railroad Police that was felt for years. In 98 years your name somehow got misplaced and your tragic murder temporarily forgotten, but your memory had been revived and we all say a belated farewell.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
