Specia Agent Senter,
Thank you for your years of dedicated service to kkeping this country safe. It will always be remembered. To his family, friends, and law enforcement family please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. To all law enforcement officers, do not be embarassed over the fact it was a correction officer who took this heros life. This officer died a hero and the coward who took his life was no law enforcement officer. Nothing he did made him a law enforcement officer. Just because a person wears a uniform does not make him the person that a true law enforcement person is. It's what is in the heart

Reality

Imagine how our world would be
If every police officer quit
Turned in their gun, turned in their badge,
Just finally had enough of it.

No respect, no loyalty,
No appreciation of all they do,
They’d give their lives for all of us,
These wonderful officers of “Blue”.

Kicked at, spit on,
Punched, stabbed and shot,
Everyday assaults on officers,
Done…without thinking a second thought!

Our laws are in favor of criminals,
There’s always some loophole in their case,
Out again to commit more crimes and murders
…creates pain, that we, the family and friends
…in time will never erase.

Why should they do it?
Why take the risk?
Why put their life on the line?
Subject their loved ones to endless suffering,
When their precious life is lost while fighting crime.

More murders, more kidnappings, more robberies and rapes,
Just to mention a few,
Please ask yourself how life would be,
If there were NO officers in Blue!

Would you do it? Could you do it?
And for how many…would YOU give it all?
Rewards are a 21 gun salute, a Medal of Honor,
And your name gets added to the Wall.

Think about it. Why are they here?
And why do some hate them so?
Because they enforce the laws that put convicts and murderers
In jail serving time, or on “Death Row”.

All give some and some give all,
It’s a risk they chose to take:
To put their heart and soul in it,
To put their lives at stake.

So, please take a moment,
Please give it deep thought,
Think of what “you can do”…

To help show respect,
To help follow the laws,
So we’d quit losing our Heroes in Blue!

Each day I seach this website, reading the tragic stories of men and women taken too soon from this world. How sad I was to hear of Agent Sentner being taken. I first heard the story on the radio, then saw his name on this page. I moved to Fl only a few months ago after losing my husband in the line of duty. I grieve for each of the families that lose another brother or sister.. how horrible to be another "brother"....this man wore a disguise, pretending to be an officer of peace...with hatred in his heart.. My love and prayers go out to the REAL brothers and sisters of Agent Sentner... he will never be forgotten!!

We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of a loved one in law enforcement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support. As we personally know, sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

I am sitting here crying while I read what happened to Special Agent William Sentner. It is hard for me to comprehend that a fellow officer could shoot another officer down in such a cowardly way. That person will meet his judgement by a higher power. The staff and members of the Chauffeur Internet Radio are sending our deepest sympathys and all of our prayers to the wife, family, friends and his TRUE brothers and sisters who wear the badge of law enforcement. Why is there always a few that are bad apples (no matter where you go or do) that spoil the good..... You look up to and know that the ones that wear the badge of law enforcement are here to protect and serve us, and they do it without any praise. WE will keep you in our prayers. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Our Greatest Fear
Yet once again the Thin Blue Line is diminished,
an officers final tour of duty is finished.
"Officer down", its our greatest fear,
and once again, I hold back a tear.
They patrol in the state, city, county and town,
in uniforms colored white, green, blue and brown.
The shape of their badges may vary,
but its a symbol that they all, proudly carry.
They leave for work with a kiss goodbye,
but some dont come home, no matter how hard they try.
To uphold the law is the job that they pick,
with such high aspirations, why must some die so quick?
They leave behind loved ones, family and friends,
after their lives have met tragic ends.
Some die in crashes, others hearts not too stout,
to many have been lost when gunshots ring out.
Our Heavenly Father has called them home,
no more these dark streets do they roam.
Through trial and error they have given their best,
please Lord, now grant them eternal rest.
Yet once again the Thin Blue Line is diminished,
an officers final tour of duty is finished.
"Officer down", its our greatest fear,
and once again I hold back a tear.
