You don't know how hurtful it is to see that a Correctional Officer be the one to take a fellow Brother. I hope you know that over 99% of Correctional Officers are actually decent Professionals in Law Enforcement, and unfortunatly, we had to lose you to find one of the less then 1% who had gone to the dark side. May you find peace with god, and watch over us.

My father is a CO in Texas, so I understand first hand what those men would have faced when sent to prison and Im sure they do too. How cowardly of him to take the life of another officer who was trying to do his job on the right side of the law. S.A. Sentner, I thank you for keeping justice on the side of those who deserve it. Im sorry it cost you and your family so dearly.

To the family, friends, and officers that knew S.A. Sentner, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you face the trying times ahead of you. Please know your not alone.

Then the rainstorm came, over me
And I felt my spirit break
I had lost all of my, belief you see
And realized my mistake
But time through a prayer, to me
And all around me became still

I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name

Through the rainstorm came sanctuary
And I felt my spirit fly
I had found all of my reality
I realize what it takes

'Cause I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name

Oh I, don't bet (don't bend), don't break (don't break)
Show me how to live and promise me you won't forsake
'Cause love can help me know my name

Well I try to say there's nothing wrong
But inside I felt me lying all along
But the message here was plain to see
Believe me

'Cause I need love, love's divine
Please forgive me now I see that I've been blind
Give me love, love is what I need to help me know my name

Oh I, don't bet (don't bend), don't break (don't break)
Show me how to live and promise me you won't forsake
'Cause love can help me know my name

Love can help me know my name

Buddy, although we are part of the same agency, I only met you by chance two weeks ago at training in Washington DC. However, your reputation for professionalism preceeded you and I was honored to have made your acquaintance. Indeed, you made a lasting impression--May God Bless you and your family always. Brother, your ultimate sacrifice is not in in vain...it should serve as the most profound of realizations for those respective officials to finally implement procedural guidelines and prevent similiar tragedies in the future. Rest in Peace my friend!

To some we are a nuisance until they need us,
But to most we are their knights who have pledged to protect the innocent and those that are rightious and good.

We go where most would hesitate, putting ourselves in harms way in order to complete our mission.
We fight what most fear and run towards what most run from.
We are willing to give our all if the need arises.

We thank you Special Agent William Buddy Sentner for doing the mission and pursuing those that do evil againt our world. I never had the honor of meeting you but I have met brothers and sisters like you both on and off duty throughout my life.

I ask the Almighty to take you into his arms and comfort your family during this saddened time,,, but we all must remember that while you may not report on duty anymore in this world, your family and friends will keep your memory alive. You were one of God's Warriors here on earth.
Thank you my brother of Honor, Justice and Courage.
May you rest in peace. You are 10-7.

It is with the greatest sadness that I read the news of your death at the hands of another "professional". It is these times which remind us all that evil works from within as well as from the outside. May you Rest In Peace S/A Sentner. My prayers go out to your family, friends and co-workers as well as to the family of the correctional officer who must live with his deeds. S/A Sentner you are an American Hero.

My prayers are with William's wife and family. Innocent life taken for what reason- ?? stupidity. Afraid they were going to be introuble. It upsets me to see all of these young men and women of law enforcement being taken down, by careless people. God bless you Special Agent William Sentner for what you have done for us. Wish you did not have to pay with your life. Please watch over all of your fellow officers and family. RIP Sentner. Your fellow co- workers will take it from here.

It's never easy to understand the sensless killing of a law enforcement officer especially while acting in official capacity of his or her duties. We lost one of our own recently and to the co-workers, family, and friends: as time goes on healing will begin. Remembering and honoring our loved ones is very important to learn from past experience that he or she may have gone through. To all who knew Buddy, keep his spirit alive through honoring his sacrifice. Keep on fighting the good fight. We will prevail. Lean on each other, after that's what we have each other for. Respectfully Brother in blue. God Bless.

SA Sentner, your sacrafice was not in vain. Your willingness to face the evil of man and to protect your neighbor and country is what has made America great. Americans like you serve as an example to others that the best of mankind will win out over the worst of mankind. I pray for you and your family and that peace may settle over both.
