I will grieve you forever, but with every tear shed in sadness, I have had many tears of joy and smiles in my heart with thoughts of you and the joys I've been blessed with because of our hito Jesse-James and my hita Sierra. Hey bro! I know it's a been a while since I've visited, but as my awesome sister said, we carry you with us always! Yup, you're "Little Buddy" is getting big, and trying lots of new things! James how are u buddy? It's been a long time since I was on here. I went through a lot last year with my papa. He had a stroke and when he fell he fractured his neck and mid spine.. He was not paralyzed but could not use his left hand anymore. We had no other choice but to put him in a nursing home. My heart was really torn, James. I was going there everyday to see and spend time with him, but Nov. 2nd came and he left me :( just like u left me. I go everyday after work to the cemetery. I wish I can do that with u also. I did not forget u and will not. Oh you may know already that I have a little boy that just turned 1.. He is a character I must say.. TTYL James Miss you

It's still hard to think about when and how you left us. I miss you and will always hold you close in my heart. You know that. Our son is wonderful and such a great kid! He's an awsome big brother too! : ) Wherever we go you' re with us James. Your laughter and that twinkle in your eyes is in my heart forever! It seems like yesterday you were walking in the door at home, we were cruzing the chopper, or you were making me laugh about something silly. The way you would strut everywhere you went with Jesse-James in your arms was remarkable, yet not so, cuz thats just the kind of dad you were & are (loving & unforgettable). But I know by looking at how big our son is now that you've been watching us from Heaven for quite sometime now. Hi James, this is the first time I've been on this site. I am a little nervous because my sister is set to graduate from the New Mexico State Police Academy next week. I am very happy and excited for her, yet my heart aches due to all the dangerous situations that can arise. I'd appreciate it if you would please look out for her and always keep her in your watch.

On another note, I was very heart broken when I found out you had passed. We had not seen eachother in several years but even so all those funny memories that we had in high school came back. I'm really glad that we had the chance to meet and I was able to call you one of my best buds. Take care and you are often thought of.

James how are u up there? I know u are doing well. I just want to wish u a happy birthday. I haven't been on here for a while but did not forget u at all. As u may see from up there I have a little boy now. He's seems like he is gonna be a terror,lol.. I have also been working and spending time with my pops. My papa had a mild stroke back in Jan. I go and see him at the nursing home now. He is going to be 81 this weekend. It really breaks my heart to see him there. I have looked at some pic of us at my parents place when your pops came over. How time flies. Please look out for him also. I need all the help I can get to have my papa be here with me still. He needs to see his newest grandson grow up also. God Bless You up there. My brother. I recently heard that you had passed away in the line of duty a few years back and it broke my heart to see your photo on the Officer Down page. I reflected on our time in the Marine Corps and I laughed as I recalled all the nights we would stay up drinking and telling our war stories. I will always be proud to say that I served with you. My son who is now fourteen found a photograph from Camp Hansen, Okinawa Japan where you were holding him before he was a year old and asked about you. I just want everyone to always know that your were a good man, a great leader and my friend. May you rest in peace and my god always comfort your family and loved ones my brother.

Hi James! We enjoyed Red River as always & did have some surprises along the way; but none the less, the weekend was a great time and well spent with family revisiting memories and reflecting on who brought us to Red River in the first place. Alex saw Jesse-James and as always, shows him great love. We saw grandma and grandpa in Questa and visited for awhile. Sierra is just so adored too. Jesse-James just loves her so much! But you know this too! The kids love to check out the bikes and all the merchandise stands. Jesse-James couldn't wait for school to let out 1/2 day so we could get on the road to Red River! He was so excited. We smile when we think of you and your crazy antics and kick back ways. High Speed/Low Drag! Thats Right! You are always carried with love and pride in our hearts. People stop us to ask about you on the t-shirts and always tell us they are Marine's also or just plain respect you for the sacrafice you made. James, you are always carried in my heart and the hearts of all who knew you for the intelligent, fun loving, and ambitious person you were. We love and miss you James.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 6th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was also your brother in green so I bid you semper fi and thank you for your service to our country in the Corps.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Happy 4th of July James!
We BBQed today with family and had water balloon fights for the kids. We all miss you and keep you in our thoughts.
