Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Patrolman James Andres Archuleta

Lord,
He was yours to give,
and yours to call home,
please stand by his brothers,
so they don't feel alone,
dry the tears of his family,
so they clearly see:
that he gave his all,
so all could have peace.
Blessed are they,
the children of God,
with heavy hearts,
and honor - they trod,
to pay their respects,
to give their salute,
and to ask for your mercy,
on heroes in Blue.
Amen.

James, rest easy brother, we have the watch.

JAMES....MY WIFE AND I SEND OUR DEEPEST THOUGHTS, AND PRAYERS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, AND TO ALL THE OFFICERS AT THE NEW MEXICO STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT. WE ARE VERY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LOSS. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

OFFICER MICHAEL ROSE (RETIRED)

It is extremely painful to view this posting of a fellow state police officer. I met Officer Archuleta just after he graduated from the State Police Academy. I viewed James to be dedicated to his career, dedicated to his family and dedicated to his country. Whenever a fellow officer dies, the pain and memories are vivid in your mind. The pain might disappear someday but the memories will remain forever.

God bless James' family, friends and fellow state police officers.

Patrolman Archuleta,
I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your community, but for our Country as well when you served in the USMCR. I am a Border Patrol Agent and I have worked in southern New Mexico in and around Deming and Lordsburg and every time I have come into contact with NMSP, they have always backed us up and treated with the utmost in professionalism.
