I am the mother of a fallen officer and I would like to off er my deepest sympathy to the family of Gregory Dean Stewart. No words can express how we feel when that call comes telling us that our loved one has been taken from us, just know that he is in the arms of Jesus now and that he has paid the ultimate sacrifice for us all. It will be 7 years October 12, since my son was taken from us and it will always hurt but time does have a way of helping ease the pain with God's Grace.
To Greg's Mother I want you to know that I appreciate your son very much, even tho at the time we buried my Thomas, I did not know it but your son was at his service and my remaining son was at your Gregory's service. May God be with you and enfold you and your family in his ever-loving arms as he did me. You will need him as the days, weeks, months, and years go by.
God Loves You and So Do I.

what a tradegy a man who served his country in two ways killed so brutally.a solider to the end ofc.STEWART led the kind of life that makes me proud to be an american to be married to a deputy sheriff and to come from a long line of military.
i'm so sorry that this man was taken in this way but he has now holds a place of higher honor and hes spending eternity with a very special group of men and women with which have served our country.
thank you sir....those left behind will take care of your family and your son. you have left a very proud legacy for you boy and those in the law enforcement community will never let him forget or let you down.
rest in peace sir you have earned your peaceful eternity and fought the good fight. your department and the military will never forget you.
