Brother,

Today is one year that you were taken from us. It has been the most difficult, sad, happy, angry, frustrating year I have ever had. All I can say is that we miss you so very much and wish you were here to celebrate the life that we must carry on. I know that you are celebrating with us in heaven but it's not the same. I love you and miss you.

Greg,

Seems like yesterday we were all together having fun celebrating Brian's 40th Birthday. Brian and I miss you every day and think of you every day. We know you are in a better place but we are just a little selfish and want you here with us. I know you are smiling down on us. We love you so much.

Love Your Friend,

Son, one year ago today we recieved the dreaded middle of the night call. I thank God everyday for the hours spent careing for you and meeting the friends and co-workers that came. You were so loved , so respected, so very good at doing what you did. We are extremely proud of you. I was sure you were going to be ok , and then all of a sudden you weren't , but I know you are in a better place and I also know your life touched many and changed them for the better. Continue your watch over all of us and your comrades in Blue as well as your Military buddies. For all your friends I pray Psalm 91 over them just as I did for you while you were in Iraq. We will be in Washington DC this week to honor you, Smile down on Charlie, He'll be there too. We love you and miss you very much.

Greg,
It's been almost a year, man... You touch my life everyday. I saw your sister, mom, dad, and the rest of the family last weekend for your sister's baby shower. I'm sure that you had a part in moving the world to allow a new baby boy into our lives.
If you can believe it, Matt is getting married. I helped him pick the engagement ring last night. He speaks of you often, remembering the hours you spent together at Denny's, sharing coffee. You are a guiding force in his life.
She is from Scotland and I have yet to convince him to wear a kilt for the wedding but I'm working on wearing him down.
His bride to be is a lovely woman and they will be very happy together.
I don't know what else to say...my heart aches. I wish you were here to share all of this.
All my love,

Cat

Just over six years ago I found your name on gradfinder and got back in touch with you and your family after a long search. I am grateful to have been in contact with you as a man and father.

I was just at gradfinder and saw your last log in was around that time too, March 28, 2002.

Thank you! I still think about your often!

You're in my memory always.
Love,

My deepest sympathy to all of Greg's family. I had the pleasure of knowing Greg while at highschool. He was a very, very good man, and will be sadly missed.

Our thoughts are with the Stewart family at this sad time.

Greg was a man that any person could look up to. From my freshman year in high school to today, I respect and admire Greg Stewart. 11 years had passed since the last time I saw him, and he still greeted me with a hug and a smile of a long lost brother. He served his family, he served his friends, and he served his country and community with honor. God bless you Greg!

Greg,

It's been just over 8 months and some how it still doesn't seem real that you are not with us. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about you or miss you. You have inspired and touched my life in more ways than you will ever know. I wanted you to know that Joe and I found out yesterday that we are having a SON!! Can you believe it?! His name will be Judd Gregory, meaning Praised and Watchman. I love you and miss you!

I knew Greg as a friend and a fellow soldier in the unit we were members of in Victoria. Erik Becker, Krohn, and Greg and Greg. We would always hang out. I was going to Iraq with them but I got sent home because of health. I prayed for them. Greg, Erik just told me a couple of days ago about your fall. I pray for your family but know you're in a better place. May the peace of the Lord be with you. I know he is.

Greg,
I still think of you daily and keep your memory with me as I go about my day. I know you are in a better place but sometimes I get selfish and wish I could just call you up or meet to have a beer and talk about anything. I learned alot from you about life and family. Merry Christmas to you and your loving family. Someday we will meet again but your memory will never die. Thank you for being a good friend and always being there when you were needed in any situation. God Speed.......

Greg and I were close friends from high school. We lived nearby one another, played football and wrestled together. When I first heard of this tragedy, I did not want to believe it was true. I wept for the loss of my friend.
I also wept because I wish I got the chance to tell him that I always admired him for living life to the fullest and accomplishing those things he always aspired to do. I wanted to thank him for serving his country and for upholding the law as a police officer. I will always consider him my brother and my friend.
