Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Patrolman Gregory Dean Stewart

Thought I would update you. Finally left the Sheriff Office. Couldn't take the politics anymore. Bro, you would be outraged at where our government has taken our beloved country. Spent the last three years as a motor officer! Greg, there were many times when I would find myself thinking how much you would have loved being a Solo unit. We would have been hell on wheels quite literally! Anyway, moved over to one of the Constable's Offices and life is much better. It's amazing to work for an organization who still values your contribution and treats you like an important asset instead of just useful idiot to be discarded at the hint of controversy or liability. I will eligible to retire in September, but I'm supposed to go back to motors and if that happens, God willing, I will hang on for another few years provided our country doesn't end up in a civil war first. Anyway, love and miss you as always and will look forward to seeing you when God calls me home.

I think about you often and it's hard to believe so much time has passed since we were in Iraq together. Miss you and love you bro. I know we will see each other again when God decides its time.

I was just thinking about you the other night. You were one of a kind and are still dearly missed. I know you're up there somewhere, drinking Lonestar and listening to Social Distortion.

Thank you for your service my brother. May you be at peace, and watch over your loving family and all that will keep your memory alive. As for those xxxx bags may they rot in hell when they are called to justice to answer for their sins on Earth.
