...It's a shame that someone has to past on before you can tell them how you feel; but anyone that knows us or who may have been on our shift or in our squad knew the compassion and and friendship that you, freddie and i shared when it came to police work and when it came to friendship. when i retired back in november of 2005 the first thought of leaving the bcpd was the fun we had as a shift and helping each other out no matter what the reason was. when OFC Gavin passed in 2000 it was you that gave me spirit and lifted me up when i fell to me knee's. i miss you already lil' byrd and just wanted to say i love you like my own brother and alway's will......good speed!!!!
