It's been so long since I've been to this page, but today on your born day I was overcome with emotions. All good. Your birthday has always brought us such joy. I remember when we were kids every year we would be off from school on your birthday and your mom used to forget, so the day before you would stick out your chest and tell her in your little man voice that you were not going to school the next day and there was nothing that she could do about it. She would look at you like you had lost your mind and commence to fussing you out. We would bust out laughing and then tell her that schools were closed because of the martin luther king holiday. That joke never got old. But you were always the jokester. You kept us laughing. You just had away of brightening up any room. I will always love, admire and respect the man you grew up to be. You are the best brother, cousin, friend and girl could have. When you were here with me in this existence called life, I always felt supported and protected. I hope I honor you and I hope your proud of me. I love you and miss you so much. Looking forward to the day when we can laugh again.

Hello Officer Byrd, Thinking of you today and the date coming that God wanted you to work with Him above. I do keep your family in my prayers. You are forever remembered and appreciated for the work you did for the Baltimore City Police Department.

Brother Byrd, I have been low in spirit for a few days mainly because your departure date from your earthly life was very significant in my departure from the Baltimore Police Department...You see after 32.5 years as a public servant, I began to become tired. Very tired of the direction the department was headed and tired and seeing brothers like you making the ultimate sacrifice and the un-apprechiateness of the others who forgot what true Sacrifice meant... I thank God for allowing me to know you , work with you and attend several events with you. To your family I pray that they will be richly blessed knowing that you were dedicated to your profession and family. And as you watch over us may your family find peace knowing that you were one of Baltimore Best

Hey Bryd, wow it has been awhile since I have came this way not because I have forgotten you. Yesturday, I was in the village and was telling my sister about the time you pulled me over for running the stop sign. And, when you approached the car you was like nahhh not you .. Go to work .. and stop running the stop signs. And, when I got to work I dispatched you like three calls, and said "You told me to go to work" Thank you for the days that you made during my job easier. I will always thank God for your friendship and care. I continue to pray for your family.

Forever your Dispatcher

Hey Byrd! I just got finished writing to Kevon and Brian and had to stop by and let you know that I was thinking of you too. When I think of all 3 of you, all I can remember is laughing constantly when all of you were around. I can see us standing in sector 2 cubicle with you laughing and cracking jokes just like it was yesterday. I look at your picture on this page and can only imagine that you cracked up laughing after the flick of the flash lol. You guys left us too soon but God had plans for yall. Keep an eye on us and help keep us safe down here. Until we meet again!
Gone but not forgotten, Love U!!

Just wanted you to know that I miss you and its hard to control the tears. Can you do me a favor ask GOD "why does he keep taking all of the good ones?" Continue to keep us safe our guardian angels.
