Thank you for your wise words and your gift that keeps giving.
I know you still watch over your family, both Tyler and the kids and the police family as well.

Hey Vicky,
I think about you all the time. We put up the tree and came across all the decorations you have made for us over the years. It took my breath away.We decorated the outside of the house in blue lights in your honor. You can see the blue glow from a mile away. The kids are excited about Santa coming.Wish you were here.

Vicky,
Today several of us witnessed Brian Kennedy being sentenced for his role in the worst crime in Fairfax County history. While we can could never be satisfied with a sentence on the man that could have stopped this whole tragedy, at least he is sentenced to prison and we can finally move on as best possible. Many of us will never be the same, but all are better for having been friends with you.
Untill we cross paths again, take care my sister.

Hey Aunt Vicky!

So I'm sitting in my dorm room and I looked up and saw the picture of me, you, and uncle tyler at the open house at the Reston Police station I think. That was taken when I was 8!

Vicki,

I have been wanting to come here for such a long time to leave a message. The day you left us I was boarding a plane to leave the Country and was simply devastated. I always looked forward to seeing you in my Courtroom so we could share stories about our kids and catch up with eachother. You always brought a smile to my face. It's still hard to believe you left us the way you did. Last week Janice was taken from us and as I was sitting at her service I was thinking about you and then I started thinking about Joyce and how she left us seven years ago. So maybe the three of you Blessed Peacemakers in Heaven are smiling down on the rest of us. God Bless

Hey Vicky,
We just had a huge benefit for the Police Unity Tour and it was a huge success. I had to go up on stage and speak. I could think of nothing but you and last year's ceremonies. It has been hard to choose an officer to ride for this coming up year because I don't feel the connection like I did with you. I think of your family and friends often. I told everyone your story, so that it is not forgotten. It still breaks my heart that you are not here in person, but I know your spiritual presence is everywhere. Your story has changed countless lives, including mine.

My sister in Christ, Det. Armel,

It's been over a year but every time I pass by the police station off Stonecroft during my commute to and from work, I remember how you made the ultimate sacrifice. I pray for your family and that through our Lord, Jesus Christ, all will reunite with you in Heaven.

”I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
---Isaiah 6:8

You answered the call and made the ultimate sacrifice. Rest easy in God's kingdom.

Vicky

We joined the dept together, went to the academy together, served on the same squad together , B squad.

We trained together; I was at your wedding and saw how happy you were
that day. You had allot of love in your heart for people kids.

It breaks my heart your gone, I pray every night for your kids and that Tyler can take care of them without you there.

I know your looking down on us, don't worry your kids will be fine and well and live great lives.

God bless you and your family always

As I sit here and think about the overwhelming loss of such a hero, I wonder if it is possible that such wonderful people can exist in the same world as such horrible ones. As an aspiring law enforcement officer, I know that when I need help or am confused or lost, I can just look up...and you'll have my back, and cover my six, just like you did for a fellow officer the day you died. In all the world, in every culture, there is only one word that means the exact same thing no matter what language you speak or god you worship: hero.

Vicky,

As hard as the past year has been dealing with the loss of you and Gabby, Vinnie has now joined you in watching over the rest of your brothers and sisters in blue. I can remember when you died, Vinnie said it was the end of the "Binnie and Bicky" show. Well now, you two rest in peace only a stones throw from each other at the cemetery, and I know you two are up in heaven having a good ole time together laughing about the "Binnie and Bicky" show once again. Take care of each other up there and watch over those of us down here still carrying the torch. You, Gabby and Vinnie are all heroes in the eyes of your brothers and sisters at the Sully Station. We miss each of you.

One year has passed and I know the tears of love still flow from the many broken hearts left behind. You will never be forgotten by those that love you nor will the Blue Family ever forget you. You are a true hero and heroes never die. Continue to watch over your loved ones and those still on patrol.
