JT,
As I lay here this morning I begin to think back on the many memories I was able to share with you. The laughs we shared, the numerous pranks you played on my mother(Aunt Wanda), the love you had for your family. The list could go on and on. I love you and miss you dearly.

I am three days into mandate and this was one of our assignments to do a small research report on some of Georgia's brave fallen officers. It brings me great sadness to read about deputy Whiteheads tragic sacrifice, and I appreciate his outstanding service to the residents of Bibb County. Reading his story gave me a very surreal experience and hopefully I after I graduate from mandate I can continue in this brave mans foot steps and carry the torch that shines the bright light on darkness and evil. Rest easy deputy Whitehead we've got it from here.

Your memory continues in the hearts of those who knew you. Today, my Mom, Mike and I were talking about the old times in Roselle and your name came into our conversation. We talked about your kindness, your love for your family and your beautiful smile.

My heart goes out to my friend Lisa Whitehead, the sister of her deceased brother and hero. I can only imagine her pain because if I lost my only brother to such a tragic reckless death I could never forget him on this earth as living today. I will help her remember her brother always.

Wali, I've just learned of your passing in 2006 and it just made me sick to my stomach. You treated others with respect and compassion. To his family, I had the honor of serving with him in England while stationed at RAF Bentwaters in 92'-93. Had the upmost respect this man and my heart goes out to you all. He was one of a kind.

Hey brotha, its been a minute or two. I often visit the ODMP, when I feel I'm getting a bit complacent. I always end up on your page, even though I've read it over and over. I read reflections left by others. There's always a new RAF Bentwaters Airman stopping by to thank you in some manner for positively impacting their life.
I'm still patrolling and responding to SWAT callouts. While en route to the target, your dedication and ultimate sacrifice is always on my mind. I'm reminded to get through that fatal funnel and to my assignment. Brotha, I appreciate all you did for me THEN and NOW. Love you bro!!!!

I too had the privelege of working with Wali on my first assignment overseas at RAF Bentwaters, England Just learning of his passing in 2006 leaves a heavy weight on my heart. He was truely one of a kind and never had a bad word to say about anyone, even after a long shift on a freezing cold night in England. My prayers go to his wife and children, mother, sister and family. Keep watch for us Wali...
