Reflections for Police Officer Joseph Daniel Corr

My deepest sympathy to the Corr family and others that are close to Joseph. I ask that his department assist his family in every way they can and not to forget his parents. To lose a loved one is terrible, but there is no greater loss than to lose a child. Joseph will never be forgotten and will always be remembered as a true hero. I ask that he keep watch over his family and those still out on patrol and that he stay near to them to help ease some of their grief. He will always be in your hearts. You will not be forgotten.

A poem to reflect a Hero.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow,
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.

I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush,
of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am in the star shine of the night.

I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room,
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing,

Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I do not die.
