Officer Corr,
Your community is safer, and the world is a better place, because of cops like you. We told one of our own goodbye yesterday, I'm sure you've already met him. Like his brother said, "God will let a few bad guys into heaven, so you guys can chase them around". Take care BROTHER, we got your back. Oh yeah, tell Jared I said "Hi"!! Godspeed.

My most heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fellow officers of Officer Corr. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To his wife - I share your agony. My husband was shot and killed in the line of duty 11 months ago, leaving me to raise 2 young children on my own. This is a very painful journey that none of us wanted to take. You do not walk this path alone, but with many others who have endured similar losses. You may not believe it right now, but you will find the strength to get through this. Your husband will be with you; he will be your guardian angel and will wrap his wings around you and your baby. He will guide and protect you as you continue on without him. I will pray for you, as I pray for my own family.

Thank you, Officer Corr, for your service and ultimate sacrifice. May God bless you and may you rest in peace, Blue Angel.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the Corr family and the entire New Hartford Police Dept. This is such a sensless and cowardly act and I hope that the persons that committed this crime are caught and punished to the full extent of the law. Thanks for your service and dedication that you displayed as a law enforcement officer. Another fellow brother has crossed the thin blue line and has joined all of the other fallen officers in heaven. You have taken your last call for service but the fight will continue and your fellow brothers will take if from here.
