Reflections for Police Officer Joseph Daniel Corr

Thank you for your dedicated service to your community and your department. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May they never forget your faithful service to your community and department and the brave HERO that you were. To Mrs. Corr, daughter, family, friends and co-workers, our heartfelt prayers and sympathies are with you. May God be with you all during this very sorrowful time. Words will never compensate the loss you have suffered. We pray that He now gives you all strength in your time of need. May you find peace in the thought, that we as friends in law enforcement, take this time to lift you up in prayer.

For your act of unselfish bravery and courage Officer Corr, we salute you. Blessed are the peacemakers.

My heart goes out to the wife of Officer Corr, his infant daughter that will not ever know her father and the other family members. I do not have encouraging words to speak to you. I too just lost my husband in the line of duty three months ago. I am left with a 9 year old and 4 year old. I am still trying to make sense of all that has happened. Stay strong and know that you aren't alone. It wasn't until after my husband's death that I actually realize how many officers loose their lives in the line of duty. You never think it could be you but then we have been faced with it now. Hold your baby tight and let them know what kind of person your husband was. Know that you husband died doing what he loved.

God Bless,

"The credit belongs to those who are actually in the arena, who know the great enthusiasms, the great devotions to a worthy cause; who at best, know the triumph of high achievement; and who at worst, fail while daring greatly, so that their place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat."
