Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Special Agent Thomas Patrick Cloherty

Thank you for your service with the Coast Guard first and foremost. The USCG saves lives and protects our shores every day and for that we should all be grateful. Your time with the Wildlife Service was brief, but none the less appreciated. It's so sad that you have been taken from your family, even though, I know you'll always be there for them and never truly leave them.

It's also sad that you weren't with the Dept. of the Interior long enough to truly make a full impact, and I know in my heart, even having never met you, you would have done great things.

God Bless you and Rest in Peace.

Words can not say enough but, we mourn another hero that has been taken from us. If it was by accident or crimes against an officer it is a great loss. We will be praying for your family during these trying times. My deepest sympathy to the family, friends and co-workers. May the Lord give you strength and bless each of you during this time.
Remember these few verses from Psalm 23, The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
