My most heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fellow officers of Deputy Hahn. What a tragic end to a long and distinguished career. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To his wife and children - I share your agony. I lost my husband in the line of duty 11 months ago. This is a very painful journey that none of us wanted to take; please try to take comfort in the fact that you do not walk this path alone, but with many others who have suffered a similar loss. Steve is forever safe in the arms of the angels and is walking Heaven's streets of gold. He will look down on you all, will guide and protect you as you continue on without him.

Thank you, Deputy Hahn, for your service and sacrifice. May God bless you and may you rest in peace, Blue Angel.
