I know of no words that will suffice. I can only say that I am very, very sorry for your loss.
My wife and I have been to Gassville, countless times while vacationing at Bull Shoals Lake and the White River area. This hateful act is proof once again that it makes no difference whether an officer works in New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas/Ft. Worth or Gassville, Arkansas. Police work is a dangerous business...period.
I would just like for the family, friends and co-workers of Officer Jim Sell to know that there are folks all across this country that will lift you up in prayer before the Almighty. May you experience the eternal love and endless blessings of our Lord and Savior.

I plan on soon being a police officer. Many people would be discouraged after incidents like these and that of seargeant prendes in vegas occur, however it makes me more proud of what I plan to do with my future. I have a great deal of respect for this officer and he will be in my prayers.
