Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Kevin M. Lee

I am just sorry that I never had the honor to meet this wonderful young man. Having met his dear parents, I can believe just how special he was. A loving and devoted son and father, he is missed by his loved ones. The pain of loss and grief never diminishes with time...we mourn the ones we have lost so tragically, but we will always honor their memory and we will NEVER FORGET. I know the loss and heartbreak that his parents feel....all we have is our memories.

My Kevin

So much has happen this Year. First of all, on your 16th anniversary two Officers from the 32 have been Murdered. Officer Riveria and Officer Mora. We visited the 30 on the 26th instead and many of your brothers and sisters have retired or are no longer in Manhattan North. Your GLU no longer there. But I will not let them forget Police Officer Kevin Lee. Me and Pa have been visiting Pct encouraging your brothers and sisters that we love and respect them.
On May 17th you Adam Graduated from NYU with a bachelor's in liberal arts we are so very proud of him, and I know you are too. Adam turned 23 in February and is a wonderful, caring person. So much like you in every way your mannerism, gestures, smile and that laugh !!!
Know that we always Thing of you each Day and your name is said each and every day.

Till we meet again My Son
Love you Always

Kevin-
Your 10 year memorial service so touching. Your family and former team mates all made great speeches- we laughed and cried, and pledged to always remember you. You have a great family!

Hi Kevin,

It's that time of year again. Just wanted to say Merry Christmas. Adam is getting taller, he is so much like you at his age, kind of shy and a bit timid at times. We still keep in touch with your co-workers even though a lot have moved on to different departments. Kevin, I never know what to say to you. I wish I could turn back time but know that is impossible. All I can say to you is how much I wish you were with us. Adam is starting to not come with us on special occasions. Just like you at this age. Love and miss you.
