Family,friends and brothers...
We are truly sorry for the tragic loss of Agent Greg Boss.
People outside of Law Enforcement do not often understand that a death of a brother effects all of us,even if we never knew the Officer that was killed.
God has chosen Greg for reasons we will only understand when we get to Heaven. Knowing Greg and all of our fellow fallen brothers are with God, where they will no longer suffer or be in harms way, is a comfort I must continue to depend on.
I too recently lost a very good friend and fellow Deputy, the pain and shock was over whelming. The one statement made to me by his wife turned my grieving to acceptance. Shortly after learning that her husband was killed I was amazed at her almost calm demeanor.she simply stated to me "how can I be mad, he is with God now, I'm more jealous than mad". She was right, I turned my anger away and replaced it with Gods love. Although I miss my partner dearly I strive to be a better person and officer like he was, so I too can be with God when my watch ends.

God Bless you all...

Agent Boss was the victim of a maniac. Accidents happen, but this person went out of his way to hurt people, and what did he gain, nothing. The law enforcement community and most especially, the Boss family lost a fine man. That driver will, hopefully, lose his freedom, but it's not nearly as much as what he took.

God Bless and Rest in Peace, brother.

Greg was the model law enforcement officer and moreso, the model man. He had a true goodness of character - filled with integrity, strength, kindness and compassion. A gift from God to all who were blessed to know this angel on earth. It was truly an honor to work with you, know you, and love you. Death will never separate us. Until we meet again in heaven-

I went through Federal Law Enforcement Training with Greg Boss. Greg displayed great qualities throughout training. He was a man of integrity, honor, and great respect for his country and his fellow man. I am deeply sadden by his early departure from us here on earth. I firmly believe Greg is currently looking down on us from the gates of heaven. He will be deeply missed. My prayers go out to his family.
