To the family and friends of Officer Frank Hennessy and his fellow officers with the New York City Police Dept:

On behalf of our entire family, I extend our sincerest condolences for the grievous loss you suffered when Officer Hennessy tragically lost his life in the line of duty. His dedication will be forever remembered.

May you be comforted and supported by your law enforcement family, and other police survivors. There are many who share this painful journey with you who will be by your side.

May God watch over his young family.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the service Frank gave to his community and the citizens of New York, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on January 10, 2006.

Frankie!

Man I miss you already. You were one of the funniest guys I ever knew. I still think back on the 4x12's and laugh. You and Patty as partners. Two proud "fresh off the boat" Irish men rocking and rolling in Flatbush. I can still think of some of our heated political debates. As Irish as you were you were also a proud American! You were a good man Frankie...I'm gonna miss the hell out of you.

With the recent passing of the anniversary of my late fiancé's EOW it breaks my heart to know that yet another officer has fallen and that yet another family has to start off the new year without the man they loved. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Officer Hennessey, especially to his wife. Know that you are not alone in the "journey" that you walk. If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to contact me. The Davis Co. Sheriff's Office in Iowa will always know how to reach me.

From reading all the reflections left for Frank, he sounds like he was a great man and a beautiful spirit. Those of you who knew him in life were so blessed to have been able to share in it. I hope that you will all continue to find a way to celebrate and remember Frank's life and the MAN that he was. His life was about so much more than the way he died. Remember that "Wherever a beautiful soul has been ... there is a trail of beautiful memories." Frank will live on in those memories.

Officer Hennessey, thank you for helping to make this world a little safer for us all. YOU will not be forgotten. Please continue to watch over all of us as only you can. If you happen to bump into my fiancé Dennis up there give him a big hug for me and the kids. It's been three years but we still miss him terribly.

Wishing you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne :)
