Thinking of you and your family during this most difficult time.

January 17, 2006

Wayne,
We are brothers in arms along with many others in uniform. You and I worked and experienced life together for over twenty-three years. I have know to be part of your family and you part of mine. I have been with you trough good times and not so good times. I have experienced your sorrow and pain but also your joy. As all law enforcement brothers we embraced life. Although you and I are not physically together, I will always have a part of my heart where you will always be. I will help your family and Connie the love of your life. I will make our scheduled trip to "Dayton Bike Week" as well as our scheduled trip to Alaska (July 2008) on the bike.

Thank you for your friendship, loyality, and love as a brother. You will always be part of my memories.

To all other officers, I prey you also have a friend as Wayne in your life. Please be safe and God's speed.

We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of a loved one in law enforcement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support. As we personally know, sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Officer Clark, when one thinks about the risks to life and limb you faced every day as a Corrections Officer, it's especially heartbreaking in that you were taken in such a manner as a car wreck. No matter the way you died, the fact that you were taken from this life is sad. Your family, all of your family will miss you and you shall be remembered.

God Bless and Rest in Peace.
